HP MultiSeat Solution

The HP MultiSeat system represents the updated MultiSeat Solution of HP company and gives the chance to 10 users at the same time to work as if each of them had own computer.

Multiseat Solution consists of the hostovy Compaq ms6200 or ms6005 PC working running Windows MultiPoint Server 2011, and t100\t150 node for connection of peripheral devices. Such approach will allow to reduce the cost of computer resources for many organizations and educational institutions.

The Hostovy Compaq ms6200 Desktop PC (or ms6005) is equipped with the Intel processors Core i5 or i7, providing high high-speed performance of MultiSeat Computing Solution and the complete licensed solution Microsoft Windows MultiPoint Server 2011.

Updates of the solution MultiSeat include also support of privileges of user accounts and the unique IP addresses/MAC up to 10 jobs, the USB keys providing access for certain clients and USB ports available to users on HP t150 Zero Client.

The solution MultiSeat is from the hostovy PC - the server - and nodes of client access with a connectivity of mice, keyboards, loudspeakers and monitors. Each session provides to the user unique access to a remote desktop of the server.

Among new opportunities of Microsoft MultiPoint Server 2011 it should be noted:

• Through the management console teachers can manage activity of pupils or workers. So, for example, the teacher can broadcast a certain message (or all desktop) on all client nodes.
• The separated screen - one monitor can be used at the same time by two users by division of the screen in half. It can promote joint work. Besides, such approach can be useful in the educational institutions lacking for the budget for IT needs.
• Control over the workstation - in case of need teachers can block far off one or all nodes and also can open/close applications. The possibility of control of the list of the permitted websites is provided.
