The Netapp company announced in May, 2011 participation in the affiliate program of Microsoft corporation — Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track — with the approved complex architecture for the data processing centers (DPC) which simplifies creation and management of cloud infrastructures. The implementing solution Netapp Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track in combination with architecture, joint with Cisco, helps consumers to accelerate business development thanks to a possibility of rapid response of IT services to the changing requirements, providing at the same time availability of applications and increasing management efficiency by means of automation.

Advantages:

  • The solution Netapp Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track, in combination with architecture, joint with Cisco, confirmed within the Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track program, gives the chance to consumers to reduce time of deployment of infrastructure and applications of several days till several o'clock and helps to use optimum set of physical and virtual resources.
  • The solution Netapp Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track in combination with architecture, joint with Cisco, uses the Windows Server platform of 2008 Hyper-V R2 and means of Microsoft System Center that allows to simplify management and also to use functions of automation and self-service of all infrastructure of a private cloud, including own functions available through Opalis Integration Packs.
  • Constructed on the flexible separated infrastructure, the solution Netapp Hyper-V Cloud Fast Track with the Cisco configuration represents the tested architecture of DPC which can be scaled vertically or horizontally. The project of DPC includes: servers of the unified environment of calculations Cisco (UCS) and the Cisco switches Nexus; components of the Windows Server platform 2008 Hyper-V R2 and management tools of Microsoft System Center, the including Microsoft applications of System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, Microsoft System Center Service Manager and Opalis Integration Server; and also the unified storage systems of Netapp working running Data ONTAP® OS with a set of programs which contains the module of Netapp OnCommand™ 3.0 for Microsoft.
