WMS on a warehouse complex of a pharmproduktion of Santens Service company

2012: the warehouse Santens Service in the Krasnogorsk district of the Moscow region

In April, 2012 the LogistiX company, the Russian developer and the system provider of management of a warehouse (WMS, engl. Warehouse Management System), automated work of the second warehouse complex (class A) of Santens Service company, a chief operator in the market of the pharmlogistiki of the Moscow region. The project is implemented in the Krasnogorsk district of the Moscow region based on the software solution LEAD WMS.

In the automated warehouse work with the goods requiring poseriyny accounting and accounting on batches is conducted and also the technology of cargo handling of the medicines for medical application requiring special storage conditions and transportation is implemented.

The logistic complex is equipped with two refrigeration chambers, the rack system with a capacity more than 10 thousand europallets (EPL), equipped with floors with a pyleneobrazuyushchy covering, fire extinguishing systems and the central conditioning, a supply and exhaust ventilation, and necessary security protections.

"The solution to automate the second warehouse complex is connected with the positive experience got by us on the first project. We could increase efficiency of use of the available volumes and also provide the required accuracy of warehouse transactions, quickly and to qualitatively carry out inventory of medicines that is reached by complete management of technology processes from LEAD WMS" - Dmitry Ledyankin, the chief executive of Santens Service company noted.

"Management of transactions through WMS, gives us the chance to provide and support the high level of accuracy of the inventory items given about quantity which are stored in a warehouse complex that is confirmed by results of cycle inventory counting. Use of LEAD WMS allows to save in full the history of movements of the medicines ever arriving on a warehouse. Besides, within the project we could in the normal mode, the processes without stopping operating to perform transition from shirokoprokhodny technology on narrow-passage that allowed to increase efficiency of use of the area of a warehouse by 30%", - Dmitry Ledyankin concluded.

The first project of upgrade of the warehouse complex "Santens Service" (area more than 5 thousand sq.m.) based on the warehouse management system LEAD WMS was complete at the end of 2010.
