The information system constructed using specialists of data center "Razdolye" based on 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 covered more than 40 jobs in 3 branches of the company in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg and allowed to accelerate processing and accomplishment of customer orders, to reduce a time delivery cycle from the order to shipment of products. Now the company delivering products more than 30,000 names can guarantee to clients that any their order will be executed just in time.

The Air filters company founded in 2002 develops, makes and delivers filters for ventilation systems and the central conditioning. The range of the company contains about 100 names, production capacities are estimated at 350,000 filters a year. Clients of the company are large retail chain stores and the centers (Auchan, Metro, Atrium), hotels ("Ukraine Hotel", Golden Ring Hotel), the airports (Vnukovo, Domodedovo), manufacturing enterprises (plants Mars, Toyota, British American Tobacco).

Production of Air filters company has job order character. Each order for production of filters for ventilation systems is almost unique as the sizes of air ducts are not standardized. For performance guarantees of the order just in time the information system which would allow to plan works on the order was required for the company and to quickly obtain information on required materials, the list of works and regulations.

Besides, a system had to provide the management and linear managers of reliable information about activity of the company (finance, logistics, sales, stocks) for the subsequent analysis and planning, to automate sales management and customer relations in all remote branches. Not to allow the competition between branches, it was required that all history of customer relations was fixed in uniform information base. In this case it is possible to avoid the conflict in a situation when the same customer makes the same request in representative offices in the different cities and receives at the same time different price offers.

As such system in Air filters company selected the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" (1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management), and as consultants involved experts of Intensive Center "Razdolye" to an implementation project.

"We decided to stop the choice on the solution of 1C, first, because of an available threshold of entry in this technology, and secondly, it seemed to us that this solution will adapt more simply to our conditions for the budget, acceptable for our company", ‑ the head of IT service of Air filters company Lemzhin Alexey explained.

Now in Air filters company more than 40 people in Moscow, Fryazino, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg work with the solution 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management. Users of the program are specialists of sales department, purchasing department, a warehouse, production, financial service and top managers.

Ample opportunities of the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 program allowed to automate the following types of tasks:

  • Production management;
  • Sales management;
  • Cash management;
  • Purchase management and stocks;
  • Customer relationship management (CRM);
  • Personnel management;
  • Payroll calculation;
  • Accounting and tax accounting.

Implementation of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management in Air filters company allowed to reduce as much as possible production preparation accomplishment terms, to simplify planning process and order fulfillment control. Today term from order placement in production before revenues to a warehouse is absolutely predictable and averages 14 working days. Production just in time became one of the main competitive advantages of Air filters company now.

Warehouse stocks allowed to optimize accurate control over a remaining balance and the movement of materials and to reduce production costs by 5-8%.

Implementation of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 promoted growth of efficiency of managers in all branches. The set-up time of offers for clients and the processing speed of client orders was reduced.

Managers of the company estimated the Designer of the Nomenclature tool allowing to work effectively with the nomenclature more than 100 names, developed especially for Air filters company. To pick up the products necessary for the specific client, the manager enters the necessary parameters, and the program itself selects the suitable nomenclature. Before technologists participated in drawing up such specification, and process of formation of the commercial offer could be dragged out for several days. Now it takes several minutes.

Partners of the company also received obvious pluses. Managers fix all contacts with clients in 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8. Even if the manager goes on leave, all information remains available to responsibles. Thus, technological approach to work with clients is provided, and the company and its client do not depend on "carriers of unique knowledge".

The head of sales department can analyze activity of each subordinate for any period. The analysis of a ratio of the exposed commercial offers which are stored in a system and the paid bills allows to construct the objective KPI system for the staff of department.

"After three years of work in 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management, I can tell that we obtain qualitative management information now. Business quickly got used to it and now there is a fight for reduction of terms of preparation of each report. Most sharply it is required by logistics management of import materials and management of financial flows. But it is already more likely organizational problems though we could simply not solve them without 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" – Alexey Lemzhin summed up the result.
