Project objective

Increase in a goods turnover in a warehouse with a total area of 10 thousand m of quarter, reduction of runtime of transactions and shipment of orders. The choice of the customer was stopped on the Manhattan ILS system. Net from the world's largest solution provider on management of warehouses and supply chains of Manhattan Associates. CORUS Consulting was selected from quality of the partner in automation.

Project Progress

In 5 months the zone of shipment was completely automated and all main objectives on improvement of business processes of the customer are reached and also integration with 1C is carried out. Now in a system 68 people work.

The main transactions made in the customer's warehouse take place as follows now: orders are loaded into main system and transferred to a warehouse management system using standard interfaces. All positions are brought to a host system and are not created manually. Acceptance takes place using RF terminals. If there are no goods in a system at acceptance, then it is brought to a host system, and then is unloaded in Manhattan ILS. Net. Such scheme very much simplified labor costs on acceptance and shipment of goods and reduced time of transactions in a warehouse of Brozex company.

"The scheme of work "Warehouse office" became feature of the project, – goods get directly in a warehouse, (most of clients make shipment at own expense); very short time of selection, the order is selected and shipped at the client or according to the preliminary application. So a new system had to provide the fast speed and accuracy of transactions (accounting, distribution of tasks)" – Sergey Petrovich Suslov, the chief executive of Brozex company tells.
