On August 15, 2007 the Mikoyanovsky Meat-processing Plant Ltd company signed the agreement with the leader of the Russian market of warehouse management systems — SOLVO company about system implementation of management of the warehouse Solvo.WMS.
The automated industrial complex, specializes in release and temporary storage of semi-finished products. The management system controls production process from intake of raw materials on a warehouse and until shipment of finished goods to the customer.
The complex is located on the area of 8670 sq.m. in the building having 6 floors. The warehouse works round the clock. A total quantity of cells in a warehouse automatic machine — 3408, pallet — about 200. The main type of storage — boxed and pallet floor cells. The Solvo.WMS system is integrated with a head information system of own development of Mikoyanovsky meat-processing plant by means of the gateway.
The warehouse management system within the project interacts with a warehouse automatic machine of ATTEC company, the pipeline equipment of ATTEC company both the labeling and weight equipment of Bizerba company.
In work a system is used by about 30 warehouse workers.
Implementation came to the end at the beginning of June.
