SO UES completed the project of construction of regional dispatching office

The Asteros company completed the construction and technology equipping of the new building of SO UES branch "Regional dispatching office of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region" (the Leningrad RDU).

Background

From the moment of creation and till November, 2010 supervisory control in an operational zone of the Leningrad RDU was exercised from leased premises and the building of the Interconnected dispatching office (IDO) of the Northwest.

Geographical distribution of a technology complex and the small area of working premises did not answer regulations of functioning of the dispatching centers and imposed serious restrictions for development of technologies of supervisory control. It was necessary to implement in the shortest possible time the project of construction of the new building for placement of branch.

According to the results of an open competition as the general contractor of the project the Asteros company is attracted.

Implementation

Under the leadership of Asteros RDU building is built, its engineering and technology equipment is provided, 185 jobs are automated. Among the main works on creation of the new dispatching center it is possible to select creation of a structured cabling system based on the equipment Panduit, a power supply system, the ventilation and air conditioning system, fire extinguishing, a security system, the television system of protection and observation, the security fire warning and a control and management system for access, the system of power electric equipment, an electric lighting, the system of data collection and processing.

The equipment used in the project is selected according to corporate standards of SO UES.

Result

Input of the new dispatching center increased reliability of management of power supply systems of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and created conditions for more effective functioning of all regional electrical power complex.
