2018: Automation of a budgeting system

On June 28, 2018 the CORUS Consulting company announced project completion on automation of a budgeting system in the international group AsstrA. The system created on the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform became the mechanism of holding budget campaigns, uniform for all group.

The need to improve labor-intensive and difficult processes of mid-term planning became the main premises of system implementation of budget planning. Earlier for forecast calculation on revenue of AsstrA used the corporate data warehouse, and for formation of budgets of divisions and their consolidation – IBM Lotus Notes system 9.0 and the tables Excel. Support of such system and data of the general budget required considerable resources from IT and financial divisions.

According to the results of the conducted examination, for project implementation on process automation of budget management the platform for the integrated business planning and forecasting of Oracle Hyperion Planning was selected.

During the project specialists of Corus Consulting automated processes of forecasting and sales planning on clients and also formations and consolidations of budgets for the companies of group. The joint command of integrator and AsstrA company optimized techniques of formation of profitable and account parts of the budget.

Routine planning process of budgets and their approval between offices and departments became more clear and is more transparent. In our company 32 legal entities of holding and 3000 clients therefore for us the transparency and controllability process were very important and vital are involved in process of budgeting. Permanent transfers of the updated data on e-mail disappeared, and, as a result, load of the staff of financial division is significantly reduced, terms of a budget campaign are reduced".
