Voronezh logistic company (WMS Logistics Vision Suite)

The ant Technologies company, the leader of the Russian market of IT solutions for logistics, begins the next project in the sector of 3PL – automation of the logistic center of "The Voronezh logistic company" (Direct Logistics trademark). Management of the first in the Voronezh region logistic center of class "A" will be performed using the WMS system of Logistic Vision Suite.

"The Voronezh logistic company" (www.directlogistics.ru) is organized in 2006. Now in Ramonsky district of the Voronezh region on the federal highway "Don" the company performs construction of the first in the Voronezh region logistic center of class "A" designed to solve a problem of deficit of warehouse spaces in the region. Project completion in which store and auxiliary buildings will occupy 100 thousand sq.m., is planned by 2010-2011.

Within this project specialists of ant Technologies automate the first complex of the center of 21 thousand sq.m. which start in operation is planned for the III quarter of the current year.

On the warehouse spaces "Voronezh logistic company" will render a full range of services of safe custody, processing and cargo delivery therefore the logistic center should conform to the highest quality standards during the work with clients and meet requirements of the market. Besides the company is faced by problems of effective use of warehouse spaces and expense optimization of processing of loads. With respect thereto the company management decided to equip a warehouse complex with a professional management system and attentively approached selection process of the WMS solution and the partner in implementation.

As a result of the held tender the ant Technologies company and the software solution Logistic Vision Suite advanced by it in the Russian market was selected. Such choice is connected with the fact that ant Technologies has broad competences in automation of 3PL-warehouses, and the Logistic Vision Suite system successfully functions in warehouses of the conducting Russian 3PL-operators. In addition at a choice stage "The Voronezh logistic company" paid much attention to opportunities on deadlines of implementation and independent technical support of the WMS system. The modern architecture of Logistic Vision Suite allows to customize easily a system under different customer requirements of a warehouse without involvement of specialists of integrator, thereby minimizing the cost of ownership of WMS.

In the logistic center specialists of ant Technologies will implement main system of management of the warehouse Warehouse Vision of the Logistic Vision Suite family. At the subsequent stage of the project implementation of the module of billing of Logistics Billing using which a system will perform tariffing of services is planned and to make out bills on each client of a warehouse complex separately. Besides integration of Logistic Vision Suite with the accounting system of the customer of 1C is planned.
