Karaganda international airport (WMS Logistics Vision Suite)

The ant Technologies company signed the agreement with the Karaganda international airport (Sara Arka) on creation of a management system for the warehouse terminal handler of processing of air freights based on the WMS system of Logistic Vision Suite.

The Karaganda international airport is the powerful airport complex which annual capacity makes 6.2 million passengers, 95 thousand tons of a load and 10 thousand tons of mail. Today the main development strategy of the airport is creation of the central guzovy hub in the territory of Kazakhstan. For implementation of this strategy and also for compliance to the increasing international requirements, the airport implements a number of the investment projects aimed at the development of infrastructure. In particular within development of potential of cargo routes through the Karaganda airport it is recently constructed by a cargo terminal of class "A" of 3,500 sq.m. for processing and safe custody of aviation loads.

Existence of a cargo terminal will allow not only to increase attractiveness of the airport for cargo carriers, but also will give a power pulse to increase in goods turnover of the Karaganda region. Successfully to cope with assigned tasks, to provide 3PL-services according to modern standards as the platform for automation of warehouse business processes of the terminal the management of the airport decided to use the WMS system of Logistic Vision Suite. The Logistic Vision Suite system already has successful operating experience not only at the Russian 3PL-operators, but also in the Kazakhstan market. Ant Technologies cooperates several years with the largest logistic operator of Kazakhstan – High Tech Logistic company, and the Logistic Vision Suite system successfully functions in three warehouses of this company.

Relying on the available experience, the ant Technologies company could create the offer which is most full meeting functional requirements of the customer and also having the most attractive financial conditions. Implementation of the WMS system will be performed taking into account all features of business of the airport: acceptance of the loads arriving in aviation containers, processing of different types of goods – from food, flower products to special equipment, implementation of different methods of storage of loads (racks, aviacontainers, refrigeration chambers).

In addition to the basic module Warehouse Vision providing automation of all warehouse transactions implementation of additional functionality – the module for interaction management with clients of a warehouse and billing system is supposed. The module Trade Partner Management will allow to provide by means of the organization of the web portal of on-line access for clients of a warehouse to information on a trade inventory in different cuts, to keep track of the statuses of execution of orders, to create and edit orders for shipment and to enter information on the expected revenues to a warehouse. The system of billing will be used for full control, calculation, formation of finance documents, including drawing of itemized accounts on warehouse transactions and commodity units.
