Microsoft Dynamics NAV in Sokotel Hotel Chain

Avenir IT Solutions, one of Microsoft's active certified partners, has successfully completed the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the Finnish company Sokotel.

SOK Holding (Sokotel) began its entry into the Russian market back in 2007. The Avenir group of companies provided serious legal assistance for business development in Russia and accounting outsourcing services to the customer. Based on this cooperation, work began with Avenir IT Solutions.

Project progress

Avenir IT Solutions had high requirements: in fact, the required system had to be integrated to collect data from various systems, process them, and create both reports within the framework of standard Russian financial reporting and reports in the Sokotel corporate standard.

A deep analysis of Sokotel's activities showed that the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics NAV did not meet all the requirements. Therefore, a special revision was implemented specifically for Sokotel, which made it possible to make the solution as suitable for the customer as possible.

During the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, all the conditions of internal reporting in the company, compliance with its work with Russian and international standards were met.

The main results of the system implementation:

• Complete automation of the customer's activities
• The final implemented system is integrated with all internal systems used in the hotel - booking system, warehouse system, time and payroll system, bank-client system
• The developed algorithms make it possible to optimally process revenue information, on the one hand, keeping the number of paper documents to a minimum, and on the other hand, fully meet the requirements of legislation for accounting for hotel services
• The customer settlement area is conducted using the resource of 1.5 accountants who serve three hotels.
