Rubezh, Group (Buhta: Warehouse complex)

In a distributor warehouse of class "A" of one of leaders of the Russian meat industry – Rubezh Groups the domestic management system of WMS "BUHTA is started: Warehouse complex".

Rubezh Group manages two cold warehouses – a warehouse of the frozen products (capacity of 40,000 tons of simultaneous storage) and a warehouse of the cooled products (contains 200 tons of products). The BUHTA company automated a warehouse of the cooled meat and chicken semi-finished products of 1200 square meters in St. Petersburg.

Daily through a warehouse there pass 40-50 tons of goods (250-300 requests). At high turnover, there are certain requirements for storage of products – a partionnost, accounting on the weight, veterinary certificates and expiration dates. Thanks to the system of WMS "BUHTA", there was an opportunity to keep track of location and the status of each box of goods in a warehouse.

Regarding document flow and exchange of reference books the warehouse management system is integrated with the Financial and Managerial complex of Rubezh Group which is also constructed on the platform BUHTA. As a result, all main business processes of a warehouse - acceptance of goods, formation a pallet, the choice of storage location, control of the actual placement of goods, movement of goods, a complete set, control, shipment of goods, formation of accompanying documents, cross docking, return, rejection of goods, carrying out inventories and providing necessary reports - are automated in real time.

The integrated complex of the distribution center of Rubezh Group will allow to create as fast as possible and precisely orders from a large number of the commodity groups provided in a warehouse, considerably will be raised by quality and processing speed of goods in a warehouse, will improve quality of business processes of all enterprise.

The BUHTA company has the acquired case of projects on automation of distributor warehouses. Including the warehouses working with the cooled products. From the projects completed in 2009 it is possible to note quick start of the ready WMS configuration "BUHTA: Distribution + 3PL" in a low-temperature warehouse of Port-Holod company. From the first day of work of a warehouse the main operations were performed via the WMS system, and specialists of BUHTA made all necessary completions in an operating mode. The similar scheme of start of a system gave the chance of Port-Holod company as fast as possible to begin a full-fledged work in a new warehouse.
