Alpha of OS (Alfa OS) – the operating system for the personal computer.

OS is created on Linux- a core and is compatible to Debian GNU/Linux. An alpha - the individual tool. The design and functionality are similar to other operating systems.

The interface is executed using familiar graphic elements and the principles of management, is clear. It is made for fast and easy transition to Alf of OS from other operating systems. According to the statement of developers, Alpha OS meets high requirements to security of a system. Office and graphics packages work with all popular file formats. The alpha of OS supports more than 150 thousand applications created including for Windows.

2016: Representation of Alfa OS Lavina

On November 2, 2016 the Alfa Vision company submitted the Alfa OS Lavina operating system.

The company management announced development of the version which will come out at the beginning of 2017. Personal - user, available to loading from the website (Personal Edition) will be added to corporate modification of OS (Work Station). Complete name of the product Alfa OS Lavina.

We began with the idea to create the operating system for the konsyumersky market, a product for all and everyone. Therefore, despite active participation in transfer of state structures and large corporate business on the domestic software, we do not stop working on implementation of the personal operating system for mass market. It is an uncommon task. At the beginning of next year we will show what at us turned out... Alfa OS Lavina is a revolutionary product. You did not see such Linux yet... "Avalanche" will bring a lot of essentially new. And in open source development and in a method of operating open source applications... The company showed Alfa OS Work Station of version 1.2 on the structure of Intel corporation (Intel Nuc on the platform of the Core i3 processor). These devices can be used as a full-fledged nettop and the thin client under specialized tasks. For thin clients the 32-bit version of Alfa OS WS with the truncated functionality, in its structure the browser, VDI and the system of connection to remote desktops is used.

On a nettopa of Intel of NUC based on Core i5 the 64-bit version of Alfa OS, Intel of NUC on processors Celeron, Atom is used there is a 32-bit version as a part of which complete functionality of the operating system: browser, text and graphic editors, mediaplayer, mail and so forth.
