2024: Increase in the number of Russians with gastritis by 3.4% to 4.29 million people
The number of Russians with digestive diseases increased from 16.12 million people in 2023 to 16.54 thousand in 2024. Of these, the number of Russians with gastritis and duodenitis increased to 4.29 million people. The figure is 3.4% more than in 2023, when the number of cases was 4.15 million people. This is evidenced by the data of Rosstat, published in March 2026.[1]
