2023: Moscow Department of Health published a rating of children's clinics
In February 2023, the Moscow Department of Health published the first rating of children's city polyclinics, which, according to the department, will help institutions improve the quality of their work, and Muscovites will be able to rely on the rating when choosing a clinic.
According to Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, different criteria were taken into account when compiling the rating: creating favorable conditions in a medical institution, treating the patient with respect, following professional standards, well-coordinated teamwork of the medical staff and much more. In the future, the rating is planned to be regularly updated.
The medical and patient community has developed key values for medical institutions. They were professionalism, goodwill, teamwork, trust, patient orientation and respect. Based on them, they compiled questions for patients. They, for example, were asked if the doctor's appointment was clear, if there were no questions left after the appointment. Respondents were also asked to assess how satisfied they were with visiting the clinic and whether they were ready to recommend it to their loved ones. According to the results of the survey in 2022, branch No. 2 of the children's city polyclinic No. 38 became the best.
We are conducting a large-scale program to transform the capital's polyclinics in Moscow. We are radically changing the approach to organizing the work of medical institutions and creating an environment in which doctors and patients trust each other. The person's adherence to treatment and following all the recommendations of the specialist largely depend on this. Therefore, we invited parents who at least once during the last year were in the children's clinic to pass a special survey. They had to assess how much the work of the clinics corresponds to the values of Moscow health care, - said Anastasia Rakova.[1] |
