Integrated automated control system of KAS "Business Lux"

In August, 2010 the NPO Kompyyuter company announced Business Lux a release of the new version of the end-to-end automated system (ETEAS). Innovations of version 4.2 provide development of planning features and efficiency analysis of activity of the enterprise due to expansion of opportunities of interfaces of mid-term and operational planning, consolidation of data, uses of interactive reports and barcoding.

Interface of forms of planning

Within KAS "Business Lux" 4.2 the interface of forms of planning gained development. Among the most significant changes it is possible to select: support of flexible navigation in planning forms – now different budget items can be planned with different detailing (sales – by the nomenclature, service of third parties – by agreements, etc.), according to developers, it allows to build difficult budgets of any structure; development of filtering system of data – the set of setup of access rights, filters, automatic and manual qualifiers allow the user to limit the list of elements of planning only to that data set which is necessary for it at each stage of planning process; the possibility of putting down of notes and color marks, will help to simplify process of adjustment and approval of the budget.

Budget models

Ready budget models for different types of the enterprises are a part of the standard version of KAS "Business Lux" now. Their existence will allow customers and partners to simplify process of studying and system implementation. Additional scenarios of forecasting of budget implementation are also developed: the forecast on the basis of the entered coefficients, a linear trend and the forecast on the basis of the fact of previous periods.

Abilities to integrate

Besides, abilities to integrate with systems Directum and "1C" are expanded: for simplification of building of planning process there was an opportunity to send notifications and the Directum tasks directly from planning forms (for example, about readiness of limits of the top level for distribution when planning from top to down or about readiness of the budget of the CFD when planning from below-up); the connector to the system of 1C includes additional storages and functions for simplification of collecting of actual data about accomplishment of budgets from the system of accounting.

Along with building of opportunities of mid-term planning, in the new version of KAS "Business Lux" the functionality of instruments of operational financial planning was expanded. The new interface of the payment schedule allows the staff of financial service to distribute conveniently the requests for payment created by divisions on days and checking accounts. The payment schedule demonstrates existence of cash gaps and for their elimination allows to correct easily a payment priority, having transferred a part of requests for later term or having broken the request for several payments.

Means of obtaining the summary reporting from different data sources also belong to the priority directions of development of KAS "Business Lux". So, in the new version of a product following features were implemented: the new mechanism of the consolidated statements provides data collection from the remote divisions which are not working with KAS "Business Lux". Collecting is performed by the publication of report templates in Excel, and then loadings in the system of the templates filled with divisions. It allows to prepare the summary reporting in KAS "Business Lux" under all holding; the user-friendly interface for setup of forms of a financial analysis in the form of a side bar with the list of indicators is implemented thanks to what all setup happens in the convenient visual mode.

Interactive reports

The mechanism of creation of interactive reports which allow to detail data on the drill down method from total values to detailed is also implemented. At the request of the user step-by-step interpretation of a total sum in different cuts up to an exit to initial data (documents) in which it is possible to correct necessary values is performed. It is also possible to refer obtaining the additional information about objects, such as, for example, terms of the contract, additional characteristics and status of fixed assets, contact information on the organization or data from a personal card of the worker to interpretation of data.

The mechanism is supported in all report types of KAS "Business Lux": reports of Crystal Reports, analytical reports and pivot tables of Excel, Word documents. Interactive reports appeared in subsystems Management of finance, "Management of agreement settlements", Accounting.

The advanced functionality of the mechanism of fast identification of documents and objects – KAS "Business Lux" learned to work with two-dimensional barcodes. Unlike a one-dimensional barcode which allows to save only the code of an object and then to open the object connected with the paper document in a system the size of a two-dimensional barcode allows to save all information from the document, and then to consider it.

According to NPO Kompyyuter, application of two-dimensional barcodes is especially effective at active exchange of documents between branches of the enterprise when between them there is no operational replication of data. So, for example, receiving material values from other division of the enterprise, the storekeeper just brings the paper delivery note to the barcode scanner then there is an automatic creation in KAS "Business Lux" of the receipt document to the completed list and the number of the accepted nomenclature.

In case the flow of documents is rather big, in the mechanism the possibility of stream processing of paper documents using the specialized line scanner and the Directum Capture and Transformation Services (DCTS) mechanism is implemented.
