The Ivangorod branch of Yura Corp. has specialized in the manufacture of wiring for Hyundai machines since 2008. The company suspended its activities in March 2022 due to a lack of components and a shutdown of the Hyundai plant. Work resumed after the change of ownership of the St. Petersburg Automobile Plant.

Before the shutdown of production, about 1.7 thousand employees worked at the enterprise, according to Online47 as of February 2021. Every year, the Ivangorod enterprise produced electrical wiring for 255 thousand cars. The downtime was extended repeatedly after the cessation of production.

The Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, reported in May 2022 that about 10 thousand people were idle in the region. Among them were employees of the Tikhvin Carriage Building Plant and Yura Corporation RUS. All employees were guaranteed a payment of at least 2/3 of the average earnings.[1]
