2012
As of 2012, Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill is an enterprise of CBP of Russia, one of the largest manufacturers of cardboard, packaging, pulp and student notebooks in Russia. Located in the city of Novodvinsk.

97.42% of OJSC Arkhangelsk Pulp Mill Holding is owned by Pulp Mill Holding.
Activity
The company specializes in the production of cardboard, packaging, pulp and student notebooks. Now the ASBK consists of two paper factories, a paper products workshop, where dozens of types of products are produced, and thermal power plants. About 80 thousand tons of pulp produced at the mill is processed into paper.
The Arkhangelsk Pulp Mill has three paper machines: paper machine-3 manufactured by the German company Fülner, paper machine-4 (the most powerful, capable of producing up to 36 thousand tons of paper annually), and paper machine-6, producing about 15 thousand tons of paper per year.
The ASBK paper and white shop produces more than 350 million pieces of school notebooks per year. Today, the plant is the largest producer of student notebooks in Russia, it accounts for about 25%.
Productions
There are four main industries in the structure of ASBC: pulp, cardboard, paper and ICE. The main production involves the cooking of pulp and the production of such products as pulp, commercial pulp, cardboard and paper.
The total design capacity for mill pulping is 960 thousand tons, which are divided into three streams:
- Turn 1 - production of sulfite cellulose and paper with capacity - in 1997, the production of sulfite cellulose was stopped.
- 2nd stage - sulphate-cardboard production
- 3rd stage - production of kraft bleached pulp
In addition, ASBK is integrated with a number of logging enterprises, has its own thermal power plants and a number of auxiliary industries.
1940-2010
- 1940 - the first workshops of the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill were put into operation. By the end of the year, almost 100 tons of unbleached pulp and more than 140 tons of wrapping paper were produced.
With the outbreak of World War II, the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill begins to produce products for military needs.
- 1942 - a plant for the production of ethyl alcohol was launched.
- 1944 - the foundry concentrates workshop was launched.
For excellent work during the war, the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill was annually awarded the passing Red Banner of the Narkombumprom.
- 1946 - By the Decree of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions and the Ministry of Pulp and Paper Industry for excellent work during the Great Patriotic War, the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill was transferred to the Red Banner of Narkombumprom for eternal storage.
In the difficult post-war years, ASBK is increasing capacity, increasing the production of sulfite pulp and mastering paper production.
- 1948 - viscose pulp production began.
- 1954 - a one-frame sawmill was launched.
- 1955 - pulp production for the production of papyrus paper was mastered.
- 1960 - with the launch of the paper mill, the plant begins to develop technology for the production of high-grade types of paper. In parallel, a waste water treatment shop is being commissioned.
- 1961 - the first export of wood fiber boards.
- 1962 - the production of writing paper and the basis for photo paper was mastered.
- 1963 - a notebook workshop was put into operation, the first batch of writing paper was exported.
- 1968 - sulfate-cardboard production was built and commissioned. A year later, cardboard begins to be exported.
- 1972 - ASBK was awarded the VDNH diploma for the development of light cardboard production technology.
- 1975 - a plant for the production of bleached sulfate pulp was launched, the first automated production control system (ASUP) was involved.
Since that time, ASBC has become the largest multidisciplinary enterprise in the country, which has no equal in capacity in Europe.
- 1977 - by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the village of Pervomaisky, where the ASBC is located, was renamed the city of Novodvinsk.
If the 70s can be considered a stage of capacity development, then the 80s are the time of reconstruction.
- 1981 - By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill was awarded the Order of Lenin for the great successes achieved in increasing production and improving the quality of products.
- 1983 - millionth ton of white sulfate pulp was produced.
- 1988 - the plant was switched to self-accounting.
- 1992 - ASBK becomes a joint stock company.
- 1994 - restructuring of ASBC, during which 11 independent subsidiaries are created. The beginning of the crisis.
- 1996 - crisis in domestic industry, ASBK is on the verge of bankruptcy
- 1997 year - ASBK becomes a company with almost 100 percent private capital. A large stake is concentrated in the production and commercial enterprise Titan, significant shares are concentrated in Western investors.
- 1998 - reform of the organizational and management structure of the plant. Two open joint-stock companies were formed: Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill (production) and Archbum (supply and sale).
- 2000 - BCRC celebrates its 60th anniversary.
- 2001, October 19 - 25 millionth ton of pulp has been welded since the launch of ASBC in 1940.
- 2003 - Pulp Mill Holding (Austria) becomes the managing company of the Arkhangelsk Pulp Mill Holding.
- 2005 - 65th anniversary of ASBC.
- 2007 - new wood preparation shop DPC-4 commissioned
- 2010 - 70th anniversary of ASBC.
