Cooperation with NNTC and NGN International in the Middle East

On July 10, 2018, IT consulting , a company NNTC located in, and UAE a system integrator headquartered NGN International in Manama (Bahrain), entered into cooperation agreements with the developer of blockchain the Dbrain platform for the implementation of based solutions in the region. artificial intelligence

Through a partnership with Dbrain, NNTC and NGN International will be able to offer customers artificial intelligence solutions in the Middle East and integrate them into corporate IT systems. In turn, the partnership with NNTC and NGN International will allow Dbrain to increase its presence in the region and launch solutions in new industries.

NNTC and NGN International, part of the NGN Group, plan to introduce artificial intelligence technologies, including in the oil production and banking industries.

Thus, NNTC intends to use AI not only to discover the best places for drilling oil wells, but also to improve the accuracy of monitoring, adjustment and adjustment in real time. It is expected that this could give impetus to the development of the oil industry and bring companies a competitive advantage due to the acceleration of business processes.

In turn, in the banking sector, NNTC expects to use AI to detect suspicious transactions, which will make transactions safer. Also, AI technologies will automate the customer service process.

A joint project with LigoLab to treat cancer

Blockchain platform for the development of projects in the field of artificial intelligence Dbrain in March 2018 announced the launch of a partner project with LigoLab Information Systems. The companies plan to improve the accuracy of cancer detection and treatment through modern technology.

Dbrain and LigoLab set to improve cancer diagnosis accuracy with AI and blockchain technologies

Traditionally, the task of diagnosing cancer is entrusted to oncologists and pathologists. After taking biopsy samples, the results of the analysis are transferred to the doctor, who studies the samples and decides which zones of the human body require more detailed study. A deeper analysis of individual areas and organs reveals the presence or absence of malignant tumors.

Despite the simplicity of the procedure, much depends on the experience and skills of the doctor himself. At the same time, even the most experienced doctors are not immune from human errors and the fatigue factor. In addition, in conditions of high load, specialists do not have much time to study tissue samples that come in huge quantities. And if the presence of a tumor is not obvious at first glance, then with a high degree of probability it can go unnoticed.

Dbrain and LigoLab propose to use joint developments in the field of blockchain and artificial intelligence in order to improve the accuracy of cancer diagnosis.

The distributed network of Dbrain will help store the results of analyzes and research, forming the necessary base for further machine learning of LigoLab algorithms. As certain results are accumulated, LigoLab will be able to use its artificial intelligence techniques and offer ready-made software for medical institutions that will determine the likelihood of having oncology and each patient.

At the same time, as the database stored in the Dbrain blockchain increases, the accuracy of diagnostics will increase, which will significantly reduce the risks of human errors. According to the results of rapid analysis and in accordance with the recommendations of the information system, doctors will be able to more accurately determine the areas of the body that need additional examination and analysis.

Doctors constantly have to look for a compromise between accuracy and the performance of a given amount of work. But instead of looking at hundreds of slides, images and biological samples throughout the day, Dbrain and LigoLab are proposing to pass some of the routine on to technology solutions by taking it off medical staff, company officials said.

Of course, AI will not be able to completely replace oncologists or pathologists, at least in the near future. Human intelligence and judgment will still play a key role in diagnosis, but a properly trained and programmed AI system can be a useful addition that multiplies the benefits of a doctor's experience and intellectual capabilities, Dbrain and LigoLab are convinced.
