History

2013

In 2013 14 new shops of different formats – hypermarkets, supermarkets, shops at the house were open. Shops opened in Kiev and Kiev region, Chernihiv, the Cherkassk and Kherson regions. The goods turnover of EKO LLC for last year made 4.32 billion UAH that is 15.2% more, than in 2012.

In the first half of the year 2015 "EKO the market" took the 4th place in TOP-5 the biggest retail chain stores in Ukraine (according to GT Partners).

2012

In 2012 20 new shops, in particular in Kiev were also open, for the Kiev Region (Mr. Vyshgorod, Irpen, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi. Ukrainian), Sevastopol, Zhytomyr, Donetsk Region (Krasnoarmeysk, Artemivsk, Horlivka, Kramatorsk), Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Poltava, Sumy, Sumy Region (Mr. Romna, Mr. Shostk). In 2012 EKO LLC increased a goods turnover by 24.50% in comparison with 2011, to 3.75 billion UAH.

The president "EKO a market" Victor Povnitsa was included into "25 best SEO of Ukraine of 2012" according to the FORBES magazine.

2011

In 2011 it was open 20 supermarkets "EKO Market" what became a record by the number of opening for network. New shops opened in Kiev, Fastov (The Kiev Region), Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kremenchuk (The Poltava Region), Akhtyrke, Shostke, Romnakh (The Sumy region), Kherson and Dimitrov (The Donetsk Region). The goods turnover of Network in 2011 made 3.3 billion UAH.

2010

In 2010 a goods turnover "EKO the market" made 2.65 billion UAH, for the same period 3 new shops were open, having brought their total quantity to 68 outlets.

2009

In 2009 a goods turnover of retail network EKO Market made 2.1 billion UAH, also in 2009 the network opened 9 new shops.

2008

The number of supermarkets "EKO Market" increased to 48, and presence geography – to 15 regions. In 2008 the network recorded a goods turnover at the level of 1.7 billion UAH.

2007

The total quantity of supermarkets grew to 42, and the floor space of network – to 40720 sq.m. The geography of presence of network extended up to 14 regions of Ukraine – "EKO markets" appeared in the cities of Vinnytsia, Nikolaev, etc.

In October, 2007 in the first rating of the Ukrainian retail chain stores (DENGI.UA magazine) retail chain stores "EKO a market" is recognized by the best national network by criteria of price policy, the range and service quality.

2006

The network contained already 28 shops.

2004

The number of supermarkets of network grew to 18.

2003: Creation of the company

2003 – the first product supermarket "EKO Market" in Chernihiv is open. Same year supermarkets in Sumy, Zaporizhia, Kremenchuk, Odessa and Cherkasy were open.
