2023: "SM-Clinic" bought Family Medical Center

On May 31, 2023, it became known that the SM-Clinic holding was acquiring one of the institutions owned by the European Medical Center (EMS).

We are talking about the Family Medical Center (SMC), which is located on Bogdanov Street in Moscow Solntsevo. This is a four-story multidisciplinary clinic with a total area of ​ ​ more than 5 thousand square meters. The center includes a clinic, a 24-hour hospital, an emergency department and a surgical department. Among the services provided are X-ray computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography, endoscopy, physiotherapy, vascular surgery, psychiatric care, cosmetic procedures, etc.

The STS website says that from April 29, 2023, the institution was closed for reconstruction with subsequent opening under a different brand. The SM-Clinic company confirmed the transaction for the purchase of the STS, without going into any details. The value of the acquired assets is not reported.

According to the SMC, the diagnostic base of the clinic corresponds to the capabilities of large modern multidisciplinary centers of the international level. In particular, the radiation diagnostics department is equipped with Philips multispiral computer and magnetic resonance tomographs for a wide range of radiological studies. The SMC includes its own clinical and diagnostic laboratory. The operating center is equipped with the latest equipment for carrying out minimally invasive operations in the field of general surgery, urology, coloproctology, gynecology and otorhinolaryngology.

It is noted that in general, EMS unites nine points, and branches are present in Moscow and the Moscow region (by May 2023).
