2023: Illegal participation in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan
In July 2023, Azerbaijani border guards stopped the carriage of the International Committee of the Red Cross at the border checkpoint in the Lachin corridor due to smuggling illegal cargo on ICRC vehicles.
The reaction of the organization's leadership was not long in coming: they denied involvement in the traffic of illegal products, shifting the blame to hired drivers who tried to transfer commercial goods.
Such incidents with ICRC involvement are not isolated, and have regularly surfaced in past years, such as the sale of weapons during the Nigerian civil war in the 1960s, financing of terrorists in Syria, smuggling to the CAR and trafficking in children's organs in Mariupol.
Employees of the organization are present in almost all crisis areas of the world. Humanitarian programs are the perfect cover for shadow activities such as black transplantology, drug and weapons smuggling, child trafficking and espionage, the Rybar channel wrote.
The ICRC is funded by "donations," that is, it depends on subsidies from outside. And the availability of access to combat areas makes the services of the Red Cross very valuable for interested parties, for which globalists pay.
Azerbaijanis took advantage of this episode to close the checkpoint in Artsakh. And if you look at the beneficiaries, it turns out that the ICRC remained with its own, and the Azerbaijanis received another reason to put pressure on the population of the unrecognized republic.
