History

2013: Presentation by KCA Deutag

KCA DOITAG is the largest international drilling contractor. As of July 2013, the company employed more than 8 thousand people in more than 22 countries of the world.

KCA DOITAG conducts drilling operations on 33 offshore platforms worldwide and owns and operates a fleet of mobile offshore rigs, including 3 jack-up rigs and 7 tender-type rigs on barges. The company also owns and operates more than 60 land-based drilling rigs.

Since the KCA DOITAG units function as separate companies within the group, customers have the advantage of taking a training course at DART training centers on a drilling simulator, working on favorable terms with BENTEC's sister company, a leading manufacturer of drilling equipment, and also using the services of an engineering and design department (RDS) specialist, whose main direction is to provide engineering services at each stage of the design, manufacture and/or modification of drilling equipment.

The head office of KCA DOITAG is located in Aberdeen, Scotland. In Bad Bentheim, Germany, the main central office of the company is located, which provides technical support to key regional bases around the world - in Russia, the Middle East, the Caspian region and Norway. As of July 2013, the company had a representative office in Moscow - KCA DEUTAG Drilling GmbH Repräsentanz Moskau.
