History

2020: Renamed the Ministry of Digital and Technological Development of Sakhalin Oblast

By Decree of the Government of the Sakhalin Region of March 18, 2020 No. 118, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Sakhalin Region was renamed the Ministry of Digital and Technological Development of the Sakhalin Region^[1].

2018: Activities of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of Sakhalin Oblast

The Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Sakhalin Region was established on November 1, 2018 by reorganizing the Agency for Information Technology and Communications of the Sakhalin Region.

The Ministry was the executive authority of the Sakhalin Oblast, which carried out the functions of rendering public services, managing state property and law enforcement functions in the field of information technology, communications and on ensuring the provision of state and municipal services in the region.
