The Nenets Oil Company - was formed in 1998 by the decision of Administration of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The company obtained licenses for subsurface use on several fields of hydrocarbons in the territory of the district. Afterwards participation and representation of interests of the District in the Production Sharing Agreement international project (production sharing agreement) on development of the Haryaginsky field became one of the directions of the company.
