1953
In 1953 the problem of autopassenger traffic in the city of Norilsk sharply becomes aggravated. The central motor transportation office which part also the bus garage located on the platform of the copper plant is does not cope with sharply increased passenger traffic. For the organization of passenger traffic by the Resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR of May 17, 1954 is determined to create by selection from the structure of TsATK independent passenger motor transportation office Krayavtoshosdora.
1954: Creation of the company
On July 14, 1954 there is an order on the Norilsk passenger motor transportation office and about the beginning of fulfillment of duties of the chief of the Norilsk PATK Safrontsom by Iosif Feofanovich. This date also should be considered history NPOPAT reference point.
2013
Today the staff of municipal unitary enterprise of the municipal entity the city of Norilsk of Norilskoye proizvodstvennoye objedineniye passazhirskogo avtotransporta (NPOPAT Municipal Unitary Enterprise) provides passenger traffic in the Norilsk industrial region. In 2013 the amount of transportations on city municipal transportations was 20 million passengers, and a passenger turnover - 170 million passenger-kilometers.
About 18 city routes and also according to 55 diagrams custom-made divisions of ZF JSC Norilsk Nickel MMC and other organizations are transported.
The bus fleet of NPOPAT Municipal Unitary Enterprise consists of 264 units of buses from which 227 units - buses of a big class, and 37 - buses of average and small classes.
Accomplishment of the plan for regularity of the movement in 2013 made 100.7%.
The coefficient of technical readiness of motor transport in 2013 made 0.850 or 103% to the plan.
Income from transportations of passengers (bobbin tickets and the transport card) in 2013 was 233258 thousand rubles (accomplishment of the plan of 100.3%).
In NPOPAT Municipal Unitary Enterprise the navigation satellite system of supervisory control is implemented by passenger traffic which significantly increased management efficiency and control.
The feature of work of NPOPAT consists in the "peak" nature of transportations on weekdays and almost round-the-clock operation mode.
In the severe Norilsk winters in the conditions of limited visibility passengers are transported by columns to 40 units of motor transport and only dedicated work of drivers of NPOPAT provides timely delivery of citizens of Norilsk to work location and back.
At the enterprise work with the purpose of increase in social security of workers is conducted: on the basis of the decision of the commission financial support to the needing workers is selected, a part of cost of permits in sanatorium is compensated. At dismissal one-time remuneration depending on length of service at the enterprise is paid to pensioners. According to the results of a production competition the rank "The Best Worker" by profession is quarterly given.
