North Caucasian regional center Ministry of Emergency Situations

Due to the formation of the North Caucasian Federal District in 2010 for civil defense, to emergencies and natural disaster response No. 486 of 10/1/2010 and No. 671 of 12/22/2010 formation of the North Caucasian regional center Emercom of Russia began orders of the ministry of the Russian Federation.

Since February 1, 2011. The North Caucasian regional center Emercom of Russia started accomplishment of tasks of a purpose.

Territorial authorities of management (the head departments of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia in territorial subjects of the Russian Federation), divisions of the Federal fire service, the state fire supervision, rescue military formations, search and rescue groups, an air rescue squadron, the state inspectorate for small size vessels, etc. are a part of the regional center. The most important task of the regional center is implementation of uniform state policy in the field of civil defense, protection of the population and territories from emergencies.
