History

In 1991 the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics stopped the existence. Due to the disintegration of the Union Russia lost the traditional developer and the manufacturer of navigation sonic depth finders who remained in the independent Republic of Moldova.

To compensate this loss by the specialists of one of research establishments of Russia conducting in this area on own initiative in 1993 NPK PROMELEKTRONIKA Ltd was founded.

This society invested all income from business activities in development of the first Russian navigation NEL-20K sonic depth finder.

In April, 1994 the developed sonic depth finder successfully passed tests and received the first certificate of the Russian Maritime register of shipping.

By 1996 modification of the sonic depth finder was finished under requirements of military standards and successfully passed the state tests.

In 1999 the NEL-20K sonic depth finder is accepted on supply of the VTR and since 2000 is installed on again under construction and upgraded ships and the court of Russia and foreign countries (India, China, Vietnam, Algeria, etc.) built in Russia.

The big system resource put at design allowed to transform by a number of consecutive improvements the NEL-20K sonic depth finder to the unified ekholotovy complex.

The unified hardware of a complex and a set of hydroacoustic antennas on different operating frequencies allow to select from a different ground armature at the request of the customer a required configuration of the sonic depth finder for the specific project of the vessel taking into account material and a form of the bottom, solvable tasks, service functions.

In recent years NPK PROMELEKTRONIKA Ltd significantly expanded the product range. Now its number, in addition to sonic depth finders, includes computers of sea execution, the electronic cartographic systems, automatic ground stations, hydrographic devices, monitoring systems of the water environment, etc.

Today NPK PROMELEKTRONIKA Ltd represents dynamically developing multi-profile enterprise open for any forms of cooperation.

NPK PROMELEKTRONIKA Ltd has licenses for development, production and repair of marine facilities, invests means in new developments, conducts search of new activities, performs supply of equipment and spare parts to it, including to earlier delivered from the former USSR.

For accomplishment of a full stroke of design, development of prototypes, tests, serial production and service of products function design and production divisions, maintenance department and repair of the supplied equipment.
