R. STAHL company today

In the late seventies the enterprise purchases within diversification the company on production of the blow Staehle Maschinenbau GmbH forms with location in Lyaynfelden-Ekhterdingen renamed ten years later into R. STAHL Blasformtechnik. The affiliated enterprise turns out products under the Hesta trademark and differs in good growth rates. In 1998 the decision on search of the partner for production of blow forms which could provide to business the best perspective in production and market aspects is made. This production division was sold to the American company Graham Engineering Corp.

In the early eighties there was selection of operational sectors of business in the affiliated enterprises which received with respect thereto the solution big freedom of action.

To provide reliable financing of the planned growth, the enterprise which is since 1993 joint-stock company made the decision on an entry into the exchange in 1997. At first the stocks R. STAHL are quoted in the regular market. In April, 1999 the enterprise declares itself as about technology concern and appears in the industry technology C-DAX index. Besides, R. STAHL belongs to the basic enterprises of a premium segment of SMAX of the German exchange.

In December, 1998 R. STAHL purchases the consulting enterprise Mühling und Partner in Essen, integrates it with own divisions of IT and creates altro consult GmbH company in 1999. Three directions of business covering explosion protection, the load-lifting equipment and information technologies are a guarantee of progress of R. STAHL company in the future.
