Sochi Airport is one of the five leading airports in Russia in terms of passenger traffic on domestic airlines.

According to the results of 2009, the passenger traffic of Sochi Airport amounted to 1,485 thousand passes. Regular and charter flights from Sochi International Airport are operated by 35 airlines. The airport's route network includes more than 50 destinations, including foreign ones. In 2008-2009, 8 new airlines were attracted to Sochi International Airport.

International Airport JSC Sochi completed 2024 with a net profit under RAS of 9.7 billion, rubles which is 15% more than in 2023. Revenue for 2024 increased by 8.4%, to 15.668 billion rubles. Cost increased by 24%, amounting to 5.04 billion rubles, gross profit - by 2.3%, to 10.6 billion rubles, and profit from sales - by 0.4%, to 9.63 billion rubles. The interest on receiving the airport almost tripled - to 2.254 billion rubles. Such data in April 2025 are given in the enterprise report.[1]
