The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Kamchatka Territory is the executive body of state power of the Kamchatka Territory, which performs the functions of developing and implementing regional policies, regulatory legal regulation, and control (supervision), for the provision of public services, as well as other law enforcement functions in the field of environmental protection and management of specially protected natural areas of regional importance, in the sphere of relations related to the protection of atmospheric air, the use and reproduction of the mineral resource base, subsoil, water bodies, the safety of hydraulic structures, as well as in the implementation of certain powers of the Russian Federation, transferred to the state authorities of the Kamchatka Territory in the field of environmental expertise in accordance with the Federal Law "On Environmental Expertise" and in the field of water relations in accordance with the Water Code of the Russian Federation (Regulation on the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Kamchatka Territory, Resolution of the Government of the Kamchatka Territory of April 12, 2011 No. 137-P).
History
2020: Reorganisation
By Decree of the Governor of the Kamchatka Territory of September 29, 2020 No. 178, the Inspection of State Technical Supervision in the Kamchatka Territory was reorganized in the form of joining the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Kamchatka Territory[1] of[1].
