Agile/Scrum the methodology allows to save means, refusing excess modules and functions, to considerably save time for detection of the detailed requirements, and the most important – to start a product in use in a short time.

Contrary to this methodology – work on tough detailed technical specifications from which it is impossible to depart. In certain cases this approach can be applied, in particular when requirements, processes and transactions are known in advance and unambiguous.
