Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the full-fledged IT ecosystem developed by corporation for effective management the front - and a back office of the company. ERP and CRM solutions on the Dynamics MS platform which needed to be set and configured separately earlier are integrated within one solution today.
The platform is implemented in a modular type: there are business applications for automation of sales, marketing, service maintenance, project management and resources. Modules can be connected as separately, and as a part of a set of business applications. The majority of functionality of a new system is implemented in the Azure cloud environment. Thus, Microsoft shows essentially a different approach to delivery of software to users: business can select what functionality is necessary to it in specific timepoint, to connect necessary modules and to scale them with growth of need for automation.
The main distinctive feature of the solution – convenient integration between system modules and access to any data to several clicks. It is not necessary to configure in addition data exchange between CRM and ERP any more: the general data model of CDM (Common Data Model), i.e. information from all applications is provided in MS Dynamics 365, from any sources in a system it is aggregated in uniform storage.
Approach to storage of data arrays allowed to reduce the probability of duplication of information and to increase information processing rate, so, and acceptances of management decisions. In turn, business users can easily adapt annexes to work of the organization now, having connected a system to the databases used in the company.
Dynamics 365 is compatible to the majority of products of corporation: so, interaction with usual office tools is easily configured Microsoft Office Outlook Microsoft Project, – thanks to what the business user can load data into applications, for example, directly from e-mail.
Moreover, integration with tools of predictive analytics and data mining (Cortana Intelligence, Power BI, Azure Machine Learning) provides to users competitive advantages. For example, through "smart" service of analytics Customer Insight it is possible to build a uniform profile of the client on the basis of data from different sources and also to see scenarios and forecasts of his behavior, considering a set of factors of external and internal environment. The connected module Relationship Insight gives the chance to configure the intelligent mechanism of management of mail: a system automatically determines what letters require special attention or potentially will help to conclude the profitable transaction.

On February 27, 2019 OntargIT – the Microsoft partner in Ukraine – announced the publication on appsource.microsoft.com of a packet of the Ukrainian localization for cloud Dynamics 365 Finance & Operation "OntargIT — Dynamics 365 F&O Localization for Ukraine".
The publication on appsource.microsoft.com says that this solution successfully underwent all necessary multilevel test procedures, end-to-end processes solutions are prepared and set up, all modifications correspond to the best practices of development and security. The solution OntargIT - Dynamics 365 F&O Localization for Ukraine conforms to requirements of the Ukrainian legislation and can be built in any corporate system configuration of Dynamics 365 F&О intended for accounting both in the local Ukrainian companies, and in branches/representative offices of the international corporations. Use of OntargIT - Dynamics 365 F&O Localization for Ukraine will allow the company to function, as an unit, to unify technology of business, to provide the uniform quality standards in management of finance and supply chains, information technologies and personnel and also will help to receive maximum efficiency from investments in further development of a system.

In the summer of 2018 of OntargIT successfully completed an implementation project of the cloud version of M_crosoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations which included the Ukrainian localization, in Winner Imports Ukraine companies.
Localization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO for the Russian business
On December 12, 2018 Corus Consulting reported that Microsoft released the Russian localization of the Finance and Operations system based on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Within the last release of the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations platform the Microsoft corporation announced an exit of the Russian localization, including necessary statutory requirements. Exit of Dynamics 365 Layout and Dynamics 365 Remote Assistant for HoloLens
In September, 2018 the Microsoft company submitted the new applications using artificial intelligence and the mixed reality for Dynamics 365. With their help the organizations and the enterprises can fully use possibilities of a helmet of the mixed reality of HoloLens for business challenges.
It is about applications which are called Dynamics 365 Layout and Dynamics 365 Remote Assistant. They allow to connect in real time the staff of the company through HoloLens. So, the large American energy company Chevron already uses this program providing for remote interaction of exit workers with highly qualified specialists. Chevron bought about 100 headsets for the "field personnel" and is going to purchase even more equipment.
Earlier every month to the operator was necessary to fly from Houston on an object in Singapore for check of the equipment. Now it timely checks, using Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, and can reveal problems and issue permissions to operate instantly — it is noted on the website of Microsoft. |
The solution can be also applied in retail, for example, to training of selling assistants and control of their activity. Also it is applicable in any service companies as the artificial intelligence is able to distinguish a natural language and can improve customer interaction. One more potential scope of application — marketing and researches of the market.
As for Dynamics 365 Layout, this application allows to visualize a situation of premises in actual scale. In Layout it is possible to change the 3D sizes - objects and to rotate them, editing design on the run, providing competitive advantages to customers from retail, production and other [1]
HoloLens can go on-line only through Wi-fi network that limits possibilities of use of the device a little. Support of LTE will be implemented later.
Business instruments of marketing and analytics based on AI
The Microsoft corporation in March, 2018 provided large-scale updating of the packet of business applications of Dynamics 365, having filled up it with a number of tools for work with corporate clients. The provided products are generally intended for process automation of marketing and analytics.
Within Dynamics 365 customized applications were implemented:
- For Marketing (for marketing),
- For Sales Professional (for professional sales),
- Power BI for Sales Insights and Power BI for Service Insights (for analytics),
- Common Data Service for Apps (for development of business applications),
- Common Data Service for Analytics (one more tool of advanced analytics).
The offered tools are positioned by the company as tools for ensuring digital transformation and are available through a cloud on servers of the company, but can be deployed locally. All sales of solutions will be performed through partners.
Dynamics 365 for Marketing
By Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing it was created within cooperation of the developer and Adobe company. It is intended to help users to integrate sales and marketing, having started work with Dynamics 365 for Sales (for sales) and a packet of Office 365. With its help management of multichannel campaigns is supposed.
As told CNews in the Russian representative office of corporation, the different algorithms of machine learning working "from a box" will allow not just to perform mailings or to wage marketing campaigns, and to interact with the client at the necessary moments and on the necessary channel. Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional

Versions of applications for sales and customer service should allow to create using artificial intelligence ready analytical outputs in the specific directions of business: marketing, sales, customer service, finance, transactions, personnel.
Dynamics 365 Power BI for Sales Insights
For the Power BI for Sales Insights application the so-called analytics of customer relations — based on representative transactions, the analysis of opinions of customers, e-mails and also frequency and level of the partner interactions received from Dynamics 365, e-mail and social networks is implemented. Also in this application there was a tool allowing to predict events in the future.
Dynamics 365 Common Data Service for Analytics
The application for development of versatile business solutions will allow rather nonprofessional specialists to adapt already existing applications for Dynamics 365 and Office 365 under any user devices.[2]

Integration with LinkedIn
In April, 2017 Microsoft announced integration of the Dynamics 365 platform with business social network LinkedIn which the American software giant officially purchased at the end of 2016.
According to the message of Microsoft, by July, 2017 the Dynamics 365 for Sales service will be able to work together with the solution LinkedIn Sales Navigator thanks to what users of both products will be able to receive relevant recommendations and content and also to update accounts. For this software will "scan" e-mail of the specialist in sales, his calendars and data with LinkedIn to estimate efficiency of interaction with the potential client and to recommend methods of preserving of the risk transaction, for example, by attraction to work of the colleague at which this client is added to the contact list on LinkedIn.
The CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella specifies that it is about improvement of the artificial intelligence (AI) which is the central element in work of Dynamics 365.

Microsoft will offer clients the packet consisting of Dynamics 365 for Sales, Enterprise Edition and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Team at the special price of $135 counting on one user a month.
According to the executive vice president of division of Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise Group Scott Guthrie, integration of Dynamics 365 with LinkedIn Sales Navigator will increase efficiency of sellers due to interaction of professional networks and customer relations.
As notes Reuters agency, Microsoft is in the lead in the market of operating systems and office programs, however the company is rather little player regarding sales of software for the organization of sales from shares in the amount of 4.3%. Microsoft is inferior to Salesforce.com, Oracle and SAP (data of Gartner for 2015).[3]

Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be available in the fall of 2016, as well as app store to business of AppSource in Microsoft Azure. On this portal there will be corporate software developed by Microsoft and its partners. By the time of start of AppSource more than 200 services will be available.
