OJSC "Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat" is one of the main centers of petrochemistry in. A Russia full cycle of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, petrochemistry and production of mineral fertilizers is concentrated at a single site of the enterprise. The list of the company's products includes automobile gasoline, diesel fuels, kerosene, fuel oil, toluene, liquefied gases, butyl alcohols and plasticizers, ammonia, polyethylene, polystyrenes and much more. The company builds and modernizes production facilities to increase capacity, improve product quality and reduce cost, implements information systems, and improves the management structure in order to optimize its activities.

Performance indicators

2024: Revenue growth by 14.3% to RUB 303 billion

As TAdviser found out in early September 2025, the Russian petrochemical complex Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat recorded revenue of 302.79 billion rubles at the end of 2024. This is 14.3% more than in the previous year, when the figure was 264.83 billion rubles.

The cost of sales on an annualized basis increased by a third - from 293.68 billion rubles to 391.13 billion rubles. Commercial expenses rose from 15.98 billion rubles to 18.2 billion rubles, that is, by 13.9%. At the same time, management expenses decreased by 17.6% - from 8.85 billion rubles to 7.29 billion rubles. Other revenues in 2024 reached 129.64 billion rubles, which is 37.1% more than in the previous year, when they amounted to 94.53 billion rubles. Other expenses fell by 20.8% - from 6.59 billion rubles to 5.21 billion rubles.

Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat increased annual revenue by 14.3%

Sales of products, goods, works and services brought 284.32 billion rubles, which is 12.1% more compared to 2023, when 253.54 billion rubles were received. Payments to suppliers (contractors) for raw materials, materials, works and services increased by 27.2% - from 286.4 billion rubles to 364.39 billion rubles. Costs in connection with the remuneration of workers amounted to 8.71 billion rubles against 8.1 billion rubles in 2023 (an increase of 7.5%).

The gross loss of Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat in 2024 reached 88.35 billion rubles. For comparison, a year earlier, such losses amounted to 28.85 billion rubles. The loss from sales increased from 53.67 billion rubles to 113.84 billion rubles. At the same time, net profit of 4.39 billion rubles was shown, which is 85.5% less than in 2023, when profit reached 30.35 billion rubles.

Accounts receivable for the year increased by 21.4% - from 62.13 billion rubles to 75.44 billion rubles (as of December 31, 2024). Accounts payable rose by 125% - from 32.22 billion rubles to 72.5 billion rubles.[1]

2025: The construction of Russia's first plant for the production of superabsorbent polymers began in ₽20 billion

On July 9, 2025, the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov launched the construction of Russia's first plant for the production of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) in Salavat with an investment of ₽20 billion. The project is being implemented by Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat LLC, and production is planned to be launched in 2028.

The capacity of the new production will be 45 thousand tons of polymers per year. Superabsorbent polymers are used in sanitary and medical products, including baby and adult diapers that absorb sheets, as well as in the production of medical implants.

The construction of the first plant in Russia for the production of superabsorbent polymers for medimplants has begun

The launch of a new technological complex will allow the company to occupy a free market niche and become the only manufacturer of such products in the CIS and Eastern Europe. The raw material for superabsorbent polymers will be glacial acrylic acid of a high degree of purification, which has been produced at the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat site since 2017.

The opening of the SAP plant will be a logical continuation of the creation of the company's modern production chain. The possible construction of a plant for the production of superabsorbent polymers began to talk in 2021. Then the cost of organizing such an enterprise was estimated at ₽11 billion.

The implementation of the import-substituting project will allow the company to cover the needs for superabsorbents in Russia by 60-70%. It was originally planned to launch the plant in 2025, but due to a long discussion of the project, the timing was shifted . FAA "Main Department of State Expertise" in March 2025 issued a positive opinion on the[2]
