Kazkommertsbank of KAZKOM

Assets of bank for December 31, 2010 were 2,688.1 billion tenges.

In addition to the main bank direction (retail and corporate), KAZKOM has the subsidiary companies working in spheres of management of pension and financial assets, insurance and broker services. KAZKOM also has subsidiary banks in the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

2017: Kazkommertsbank will be attached to People's Bank

The Board of Directors of People's Bank approved in December, 2017 integration of two banks by accession of Kazkommertsbank to People's Bank. Accession of Kazkommertsbank (Qazkom) to People's Bank (Halyk Bank) will be performed after passing of all necessary procedures, including the corresponding approval of regulating authorities.

Accession of Qazkom to People's Bank will come to the end after creation of necessary premises and ensuring service and technology readiness of two financial institutions. It includes synchronization of the product offer, bank procedures and processes, integration of IT-systems and bank infrastructure.

Improvement of services and increase in their availability began with the moment of consolidation of ATM networks in July, 2017. Afterwards People's Bank and Kazkommertsbank implemented joint projects in card business, including the program of consumer crediting Halyk Light + Homebank Orange.
