Honeywell Maxpro VMS

Product
Developers: Honeywell Security
Last Release Date: April, 2012
Technology: ACS - Control and management systems for access,  Video surveillance systems

Development of Honeywell in the field of systems management of television observation implements integration of analog video sources into network IP cameras and video recorders and also the newest means of the intellectual analysis of video images. Users can work at the same time with the existing analog components and systems on the basis of IP networks, providing maximum efficiency of use of initial capital investments. Besides, this solution will allow to increase convenience of work and efficiency of interaction of operators at observation of an object.

The management system for video images Honeywell MAXPRO VMS (Video Management System) allows to manage a large number of sources of the video image for collecting, processing and representation of flows of a video information in an evident form and according to solvable tasks. Using intellectual processing of video flows, MAXPRO VMS implements transfer of images from any analog or digital sources using the unified interface and browser system. As signal sources analog cross-point switches (for example, MAXPRO-Net and VideoBloX) and also digital devices, such as digital system of television observation Digital Video Manager (DVM), Enterprise NVR, Rapid Eye Multi-Media and Fusion video recorders can be used.

The MAXPRO® VMS system is constructed on the basis of the client-server architecture and assumes a possibility of flexible scaling. It allows users to expand or change easily a network configuration as required. The open architecture provides integration of MAXPRO VMS with the available elements of infrastructure of a television system and a set of devices of third-party producers which are available now and can appear in the future. In addition, MAXPRO VMS supports integration into the software for systems management of security of buildings of Honeywell Pro-Watch, the analysis of video images Active Alert and People Counter and other products and solutions of Honeywell.

Scopes

The MAXPRO® VMS system is ideal for objects where protection of important elements of infrastructure, for example the airports, railway junctions, seaports, the distributed commercial complexes, casino and other large enterprises and constructions is required. Systems based on MAXPRO VMS® are applied to the organization of the situational centers and the centers of monitoring. MAXPRO VMS® perfectly is suitable for objects with analog and digital sources of the video image.

Main features

  • Multifunction and a user-friendly interface for the centralized viewing video images and setup of a configuration of different devices.
  • Work with Pro-Watch software for creation of completely integrated solution including control systems of access and a security alarm.
  • The system of differentiation of the rights for exact purpose of functions to operators according to their job responsibilities and an algorithm of interaction of security service specialists.
  • Hardware hot sparing of the server for reliability augmentation of a system.
  • Message communication function for operators allows them to exchange data on events and alarms in controlled zones.
  • Function of automatic recognition of the cameras connected to the Rapid Eye™, Fusion and Enterprise video recorders.
  • The macroes determined by the user for accomplishment of standard transactions.
  • Function of combination of groups of video images on monitors according to a configuration of a controlled object. When choosing one camera a system allows to display automatically in the multiscreen mode of the image from the cameras which are near it. This function is used for convenient control of movement of the interesting object.
  • Digital image magnification from rotary and stationary cameras.
  • Possibility of detailed studying of events and alarms using simultaneous viewing videoizob-the razheniye connected with an alarm (at different stages). For each disturbing event operators can browse the videos made before alarm at the time of alarm and after it. It is also possible to browse the video image broadcast in real time at the same time.
  • Dynamic improvement of quality of video images due to application of a special vision algorithm which optimizes use of resources of the processor by frequency change of the personnel.
