2022: Appointment as CEO of Fresenius Medical Care
On December 5, 2022, the German manufacturer of medical devices Fresenius announced that Fresenius Medical Care CEO Karla Krivet would leave the company after only about two months in this position.
The appointment of Krivet to the post of CEO of Fresenius Medical Care became known in May 2022, but she was supposed to begin her duties on January 1, 2023 after the departure of the former head of Rice Powell in connection with reaching the age limit. But Carla Krivet took up her position earlier - October 1, 2022. Under Fresenius' new decision, Krivet will leave the company "of his own free will and by mutual agreement with the board due to strategic differences."
{{quote 'In this short time I have come across a great company with a very positive corporate culture that works every day to make patients' lives more dignified. The company has great growth potential and is on the verge of a serious transformation. I thank the whole team for their great support and wish the company all the best, - said Karla Krivet. }} The supervisory board of Fresenius Medical Care unanimously appointed CEO Helen Giza, who joined the company in 2019 as CFO. In 2022, Giza took on the additional functions of Deputy CEO and Chief Transformation Officer, leading the FME25 transformation program. She will continue to serve as chief financial officer of Fresenius Medical Care until a successor is appointed to the position. In addition, Helen Guiza will also be a member of the board of Fresenius Management SE, while Carla Krivet resigned from this position.[1]
