Biography
Sergey was born on September 1, 1985 in Leningrad.
He studied at school number 139. He graduated in 2002.
From 2002 to 2008 he was educated at LETI, a graduate of the MIT Sloan School of Management (USA).

Since 2010, he worked at AVRORAID.

In February 2017, the developer of software-defined storage systems, RAIDIX, announced the appointment of technology expert Sergei Platonov as deputy general director for strategy. In this capacity, Sergey Platonov is responsible for the development of innovative business models and the company's entry into new markets, both independently and in cooperation with business and technological partners.
Among the main areas of activity of Sergei Platonov are corporate information systems, big data and high-performance analytics, supercomputer computing and technical computing.
Platonov is responsible for the formation of the RAIDIX product strategy, defining the end user of systems (market segments) and the implementation channels of solutions (value delivery chain, marketing message, interaction schemes), customized for specific tasks of enterprises. In addition, Sergey Platonov's field of activity includes idea management, development and testing of business models and the strategic partnership "RAIDIX" with world leaders in the DSS market.
Platonov's previous experience at the company includes product management and KPI staging, as well as the management of the RAIDIX research laboratory, during which more than 10 Russian and American technological patents in the field of RAID calculations and data storage were prepared.
