Biography

Born February 8, 1979 in the village of Karl Liebknecht, Kurchatov district, Kursk region

Eduard Sheremettsev graduated from Rylsky Aviation Technical College in 1999 with a degree in computing machines, complexes, systems and networks, and in 2006 from Belgorod State Technological University V.G. Shukhov with a degree in Construction and Technology.

From 2010 to 2017, he worked at IDGC Center as the head of the development and operation department of the ASDU department of corporate and technological automated control systems.

In 2017-2019 held the position of head of the department of ASDU and communications of the department of corporate and technological automated control systems, in 2019 - deputy director of the department of digital transformation "Rosseti."

From 2019 to 2021, he served as deputy director of the information technology and digital development department of RusHydro.

2021: Director of the Department of Project Activities and Digital Technologies of the Ministry of Energy

In March 2021, Eduard Sheremettsev was appointed director of the department of project activities and digital technologies Ministry of Energy. The order on appointment was signed by the minister energetikinikolay Shulginov.

According to the Ministry of Energy, as the head of the digital transformation as deputy minister, Eduard Sheremettsev will oversee the issues of digital transformation in the fuel and energy sectors, the departmental program of digital transformation, digital public services, the development of information technologies, the state information system in the fuel and energy complex and import substitution of software.

By May 2022, the Ministry of Energy continues to implement the departmental project "Digital Energy." It is aimed at transforming the energy infrastructure of the Russian Federation through the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions to increase its efficiency and security.

As part of the project, it is planned to systematize the experience already gained in implementing digital solutions, together with fuel and energy companies and the expert community, to form a targeted vision for digitalization, as well as basic requirements and criteria for the solutions being implemented, which will allow them to dock in a trusted digital environment.

The key task of the projects is the general direction for all sectors of the fuel and energy complex to create conditions for the development and development of digital services and solutions. Within its framework, it is planned to build a system for managing, coordinating and monitoring the digital transformation of the fuel and energy complex of Russia, as well as create conditions for the development and development of digital services and solutions in a single information environment, and, above all, ensuring the digitalization of public administration and control and supervisory activities in the fuel and energy sectors.[1]
