Integration with Indeed PAM

Indid and STC IT ROSA on September 30, 2025 announced the technological compatibility of the privileged user access control system and the Dynamic Directory directory service management solution. The integration of products will allow corporate customers to strengthen the control and security of privileged access and accelerate the transition to domestic software built on an independent technology stack.

Protecting privileged access to enterprise systems and data is one of the key challenges cyber security for businesses of all sizes.

The joint use of Indid and ROSA products helps to build a centralized system for protecting the access of privileged users and solve one of the urgent tasks of import substitution - to switch to domestic software complexes.

The technological integration of Indeed Privileged Access Manager and Dynamic Directory enhances the ability of clients to protect privileged access, helps reduce the risk of current threats associated with unauthorized access to the IT infrastructure and speeds up the import substitution process.

The architectural flexibility of Indeed PAM allows you to easily integrate with other systems, opening up opportunities for corporate clients to protect privileged accounts. The compatibility of Indeed PAM with Dynamic Directory provides customers with a high level of security for privileged user access and helps Russian companies create a reliable IT infrastructure based on domestic software products. We are systematically expanding our technological partnership with Russian software manufacturers in order to offer the market comprehensive identity protection solutions that meet modern cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements, "said Andrey Laptev, director of the product office of Indid.

Dynamic Directory 4.2 with Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies

On July 7, 2025, ROSA introduced an update to the Dynamic Directory 4.2 directory service management system, which improved the group policy mechanism, implemented support for Microsoft Active Directory group policies for workstations running MS Windows operating systems by using ADMX\ADML templates. The release also fixed some bugs in the GUI.

Several key changes have been made in the current release. The logic of applying group policies has been improved. It became possible to create group policies using summation logic. In such templates, policy settings are not overridden, but added. This enables you to create more flexible and consistent security and configuration policies, especially in hierarchical structures.

If you use a template that summarizes parameters, the parameters from all policies that apply to the object to which they apply will apply. When using a template without summation, only settings from the highest priority policy are applied. This allows, for example, to install some packages from a policy at a given domain level, and others from a policy specified at the organizational unit level, and eventually all packages specified for the corresponding object will be installed. This approach increases the transparency, predictability, and manageability of the infrastructure.

A policy editor also appeared, which became part of the main interface. Editing group policy templates is now integrated into the main application and is available in standard perspectives. This simplifies the day-to-day operations of system administrators by eliminating the need for separate modules or utilities.

Another improvement was the addition of group policy copying with settings. Added the ability to clone group policies while maintaining all the specified parameters. This saves time and reduces the risk of errors when deploying new structural units or replicating configurations.

Additional improvements and fixes include:

Interface and display enhancements:

  • fixed the display of account and container icons, including Conditional Forwarding Servers and SRV records in DNS;
  • improved display of new DNS zones and SRV records immediately after creation;
  • Restore the order in which group policies are displayed in the organizational unit properties and in the list pane.

Stability enhancement:

  • fixed errors when disconnecting computers that are not in the domain;
  • fixed an error with the check boxes "Disable user group policy" and "Disable computer group policy settings";
  • "IsRefresh" error message is excluded when saving the global password policy;
  • Now you will receive a clear notification that the license file is missing at startup.

Improvements in DNS:

  • Fixed an error deleting DNS zones that contain records of different types with the same name
  • a separate container for SRV records has been removed - the structure has become cleaner;
  • Corrects the "Skip interference check" check box when adding a redirection zone.

Query interface behavior:

  • corrected the display of search queries after creating saved queries in the section.
