2025: Version 6.0 with advanced software object data collection functionality

On April 2, 2025, the Russian IT vendor Inferit (Softline Group of Companies) presented an updated version of the IT infrastructure inventory, accounting and control system Inferit ITMen. Release 6.0 includes comprehensive enhancements to software analysis functionality, new tools for grouping data in reports, and an optimized user interface.

This version of Inferit ITMen has expanded the functionality of collecting data on software objects. The system records the name, version and description of each software file. The mechanism for accounting for the installed software has undergone significant revision - "Inferit ITMen" now differentiates "the number of devices on which the software is installed" and "the number of software objects on the devices." This technical solution provides IT departments with accurate analytics on the composition of software assets in the infrastructure and forms a reliable basis for monitoring and optimizing licensing.

The Software Library module provides the ability to view information about the composition of the package to which the program belongs, as well as improved management of software enrichment and recognition tasks.

The user interface is also improved: interactive hints are implemented in key sections of the system, filters are optimized in the Data Analysis module and a multi-level tag system for agents is implemented, which greatly simplifies the filtering and analytical processing of data.

The update is available to all Inferit ITMen customers from March 3, 2025. For full use of all features, it is recommended to upgrade agents to version 6.0.

2013: iTMan Desktop License Control 2.4.3

On October 10, 2013, the iTMan project announced the release of a new version of the software product for the solution of accounting, supervision and inventory of IT assets - iTMan Desktop License Control 2.4.3 of the corporate level.

iTMan Desktop provides:

• Access to an unlimited number of users with the ability to restrict rights
• Retrieving data from SCCM 2007/2012 or collecting data by your own agent from computers that are not connected to the network and/or non-inventory SCCM 2007/2012.
• Generate software reports based on the geographic location of PCs and company structure
• Support for Windows 7, Windows server 2008/208R2 and higher.
