2025: Creation of the Avareange Platform

Students of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship of MIPT have created the AVAREANGE platform, which can increase the effectiveness of combating cyber threats five times by reducing the impact of the human factor in the context of information security. The project will be useful to organizations of all sizes, including the public, corporate, educational institutions and MSSP companies (Managed Security Service Providers). The idea of ​ ​ a student startup arose at the intersection of three challenges: growing cyber threats, vulnerability of systems due to the human factor and the low efficiency of the traditional approach to learning in the field of information security. The authors of the project are a team of 16 specialists in the field of information security, machine learning, backend development and SAT (Security Awareness Training) methodology. In their opinion, the created platform will help organizations form super-immunity.

The impetus for the creation of our project was the realization that even with powerful technical protection systems, a person remains the weakest link in information security. According to statistics, more than 90% of successful attacks are related to social engineering. This pushed us to develop a product that would not just teach, but adapt to each user and constantly analyze risks in real time, "said Viktor Bialostotsky, co-founder of the startup, student of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship at MIPT.

The platform is based on the architectural principles of GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance), SOAR (Security Orchestra, Automation and Response) and SAT. Its goal is to reduce the impact of the human factor in the context of cyber threats and take information security training to a new level.

AVAREANGE includes personalized learning trajectories based on behavioral analysis (ML, LangChain); an intelligent assistant based on; neuronets GIGACHAT phishing simulations with automatic adaptation of scripts to the user level; predictive analytics and CISO planning through the Pulse module, as well as an interactive analytics panel with visualization of personnel maturity and threat dynamics.

At the center of the system is adaptive learning based on artificial intelligence. The use of LangChain stacks and machine learning models allows behavioral analysis of employees, creating individualized learning strategies. This helps to increase staff awareness of possible sources of threats and prepare them for real situations.

One of the key components of the platform is the Pulse module. With its help, vulnerability scoring and foreign intelligence on open sources of information (OSINT) are carried out. It aggregates data from leaks and forms the company's behavioral risk profile, allowing for audits and analyses of resistance to social engineering attacks.

For a more practical approach, simulation phishing campaigns are provided. The system generates attack scenarios and evaluates the reaction of users through various communication channels - be it email, instant messengers or SMS. User actions are captured and translated into a risk assessment system that takes into account their behavioral patterns. Next, the platform issues recommendations on effective behavior in underwater situations.

The system also employs an AntiScam intelligent agent based on the GIGACHAT neural network, which uses natural language analysis (NLP) to monitor real-time communications. The system provides recommendations, and the Pulse Dashboard offers multidimensional visualization of threat dynamics, employee maturity, training efficiency, and resistance to phishing attacks. Users can export data to formats for external auditing, which adds transparency and helps assess current risks.

The AVAREANGE project is focused on organizations of all sizes, including the public sector, the corporate sector, educational institutions and MSSP companies. The main advantages of the platform: rapid deployment (in 2 weeks), complete customization for industry and compliance requirements, SCORM compatibility, API and BI integration, as well as modular scaling and support for strategic planning of CISO.

For August 2025, AVAREANGE is at the mature MVP stage. Pilot tests were successfully passed in Russian IT companies, at industrial enterprises and in the public sector. The project is actively looking for international partners in the BRICS, CELAC, ASEAN and MENA regions, and also attracts investments in the amount of $1-2 million for the development of the next version of Pulse 2.0, international certification and localization of the product.
