At the end of May, 2020 Panasonic announced the beginning of sale of smart bracelets which help people to look for the ideal partner. They received the name Human Body Communication System (HiT).
According to developers, the wearable gadget facilitates communication between people, helping those who who owing to shyness or a lack of time, cannot say aloud important things. Information between users of such devices is transferred in result of handshake by means of a weak electromagnetic field which is generated around each person.
The user who wants to tell something to the interlocutor can write any data on himself (habits, feelings, etc.). This information arrives on the special protected server and then can be loaded on the device of other user. But before it the owner of personal data should concern the interlocutor.
The Japanese dating service ZWEI became the first buyer of bracelets of HiT. The company told about results of use of innovation: the number of successful coincidence in pairs after the meetings with HiT use twice exceeded normal indicators.
The bracelet should be demanded in Japan which differs in traditionally strict culture which is not encouraging open expression of thoughts and feelings. Therefore the people who are looking for here the partner for defects have much more chances to be mistaken, hold back or misinterpret behavior of the interlocutor.
Besides, the HiT system helps to filter previously users on interests, cutting those who have very low chances to be pleasant to this or that partner.
In Panasonic gave an example of effective use of the device. One of girls who was unsuccessfully visiting evenings of acquaintances for two years found the ideal partner through HiT. The gadget of her name announced interests which she did not decide to share, and they matched the interests of one of participating male.[1]
