In the program calculation of acoustics of halls which allows to execute the following is implemented:

 choice of dimensions and form of the premises;  check of reliability of global assessment of acoustics of the hall according to the statistical theory;  calculation for a frequency response of reverberation time of the hall;  local assessment of the hall;  check of uniformity of receipt in zones of listener's places of the first reflections from walls and a ceiling.

Allows the architect to receive initial assessment of the projectible hall.

This program calculates acoustics in halls:

 drama theaters, audiences and in conference rooms;  musical and drama theaters (operetta);  theater opera and ballet;  concert chamber music;  concert symphonic music;  for choral and organ concerts;  multi-purpose;  concert modern variety music.

The base of sound-absorbing materials and constructions is filled according to Application 4 "The guide to acoustic design of halls of universal purpose of average capacity". The editor of base allows to enter new materials and constructions.

Considering influence of noise from the engineering equipment on acoustic characteristics, it is necessary to apply the sound pressure levels in octava bands, taking into account notes in tab. 1 Construction Norms and Regulations 23-03-2003 "Protection against noise".

Results of calculation of the multi-purpose hall underwent approval in scientific research institute of Construction Physics in laboratory of architectural acoustics NIISF RAASN. At present the program undergoes trial operation in TsNIIEP of the engineering equipment and in Udmurtgrazhdanproyekt Ltd. The Acoustics program 'is developed 2011 by the separate block in development of the Shum program.
