Acronis company (the decision maker for disaster recovery and protection), NPO Rusbitech (the creator of the protected Astra Linux operating system) and also IBS company (software provider and IT services in Eastern Europe) jointly tested the products at the beginning of 2015. According to test results, IBS which is carried out by engineers, the product Acronis Backup Advanced for Linux Server showed full compatibility with the built-in means of protecting of Astra Linux, including with a mandatory access control system. Astra Linux — the special purpose operating system based on Linux core created for needs of bodies of the public and military administration and other organizations which work with information of limited access. The Astra Linux provides the protected information processing of any level of confidentiality, whether it be personal data, a trade, official or state secret, up to data with a signature stamp "top secret". The built-in means of protecting of OS are developed together with FSB of Russia Academy and Institute of system programming of RAS. Backup of complete images

The technology of backup on the basis of disk images at the level of blocks allows to save data of all applications and operating systems for one stage. Not used data units automatically are passed for fall forward of backup and economy of resources of storage.

Effective incremental backup

At incremental backup only the changed data remain that considerably will reduce backup time, saves resources of network and storage.

Flexible recovery

Only the necessary data are recovered: selective files, folders, volumes or all server from one backup copy of an image.

Disaster recovery
