2025: Product Announcement

In early May 2025, it became known that researchers from Tsinghua University in China presented the world's first virtual hospital fully controlled by artificial intelligence. The project, called Agent Hospital, is a digital model of a medical facility where all roles - from doctors to patients - are performed by virtual characters based on neural networks.

Inside the system there is a full-fledged clinic with all the necessary elements: therapists, nurses, examination and reception rooms. The key difference from an ordinary hospital is that every "worker" and "patient" is an AI-driven program.

The
world's first virtual hospital with AI doctors has opened in China

Digital doctors have the ability to learn themselves, share knowledge and constantly improve diagnostic skills. The effectiveness of the system allows for a few days to receive such a number of virtual patients, which an ordinary doctor would cope with only in a couple of years of practice.

The effectiveness of the project is impressive - the accuracy when making diagnoses reaches 93%. Each clinical case is analyzed in as much detail as possible, starting from the moment of treatment and ending with the completion of treatment. All this happens in a safe virtual environment, which allows you to work out various medical scenarios without risk for real patients.

The project has several important practical applications. First and foremost, it serves as a platform for training future medical professionals. Students can hone their skills on virtual patients without fear of making a critical mistake. This is especially valuable in settings where training in a real clinical environment is limited by time, available resources, and the ability to deal with complex medical cases.

In addition to educational purposes, a virtual hospital can be used to model various medical situations - for example, the spread of viruses or the response to disease outbreaks. This approach makes it possible to significantly accelerate the development of protocols for responding to potential threats to public health[1]
