Aggregion Licensing of digital content, management of access to it, copyright protection

The Aggregion platform implemented on a blockchain represents set of tools for licensing of digital content, management of access to it, copyright protection. In addition, the solution gives the chance to partners to extend content of owners, combining it with any goods or services on online and offline platforms.

The Aggregion platform automates license processing and does a chain of distribution transparent for all participants – owners, distributors, resellers and end users. The platform allows to work with any type of digital products and is integrated with any distribution channels.

2016: Content distribution

As of June, 2016 the Aggregion platform allows to extend own content on paid and on a free basis. It is already integrated with cloud services of Azure Media Services for distribution of audio-and video content and also with Azure Rights Management System for management of access rights and with Azure Storage — the cloud storage of content. Besides, it contains management tools own content of the university and teachers, order placement and payments, tracking of the movement of each copy of material, ready integration tools with management systems for licenses, digital libraries, archives.

It is possible to load materials into Azure Storage or to use own storage or Microsoft Edge storage: it is simple to connect them to the platform as programs adapters are already developed. Besides, Aggregion can be integrated with a university management system for users. In the platform for user registration it is required to enter only the login, the password and e-mail.

Besides, Aggregion allows to create the general and exchange collections of the universities. At the same time the platform supports all operating systems, so, each user will have an access to audio-and video records, online lectures, electronic and interactive textbooks, publications and other materials.

Aggregion provides protection of any content against illegal copying and allows to trace at what user and on what device this or that copy is open. It is important that service conforms to requirements of the Federal law "About Personal Data" and regulations of international standards of data protection.^[1]

2015: Sale through Aggregion of 15 million licenses

In 2015 through the Aggregion platform more than 15 million licenses for different types of materials were sold or provided free of charge. 15 thousand educational institutions in Russia and abroad are already connected to Aggregion.

The platform was tested at loading in 123 million users in 24 hours jointly with specialists of Intel, and the experiment proved that it maintains such flow.
