2020: Philips released the system of wireless monitoring of a fruit which fastens to the pregnant woman's stomach
In the middle of June, 2020 the Philips Healthcare company released addition to the platform of remote monitoring of pregnant Avalon CL. The additional solution under the name Fetal and Maternal Pod and Patch is focused on use in the conditions of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic when it is necessary to minimize contacts between lyudyam.
The updated Avalon CL system allows to reduce need of physical interaction between doctors and pregnant patients and to reduce risk of transfer of a coronavirus. Addition was a part of the platform for pregnant women with high risk which includes tools of perinatal analytics and visualization and also the portable monitor of a fruit with battery power supply.
The disposable electrode pad placed on mother's stomach provides continuous noninvasive condition monitoring of a uterus and a fruit within 48 hours. A system traces heart rate at mother, the heart rate of a fruit and activity of a uterus. Unlike traditional belts and sensors, a system fastens once for 48 hours and does not require other interventions.
To the middle of June, 2020 the updated Philips Avalon CL system prepares for sale in several European countries and also in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
