2021: Announcement of a smart mirror of CareOS Themis

In the middle of January, 2021 the Baracoda company presented two devices intended for personal control of health at the CES exhibition. CareOS Themis represents a smart mirror, and Mateo BBalance is smart scales.

According to the producer, CareOS Themis is the smart mirror capable to provide to the user all necessary types of data. CareOS Themis makes the analysis of skin using UV rays, checks temperature and estimates other indicators of health, helps users at selection of a make-up and at care of hair and also reminds of a menstrual cycle.

CareOS provides each family member with a personal profile, strictly protecting confidentiality of users so data remain at the local level and are not transferred to a cloud without the consent of the user.

CareOS is equipped with the 10-inch display, i.e. is rather small, but it is easy to set it and to configure quickly. The mirror is also equipped with Mpiks front camera 48, OS based on Android, the IR sensor for determination of temperature, the microphone and several LED lamps. Thanks to it the smart mirror is capable to distinguish persons, submits to voice commands and commands gestures, to record video and to increase separate image elements and also can connect to other devices, being connected to the system of the smart house.

As for Mateo BBalance, it is smart scales in which the technology of mapping of pressure Mateo is used. Using this technology scales are capable not only to measure the body weight of the user, but also to adjust his bearing and also to carry out the analysis of structure of a body. Such functions can be useful to users who keep track of the sports progress or keep a figure.^[1]
