2020: Announcement of the Clarius L20 HD ultrasonography scanner
At the end of September, 2020 the Clarius Mobile Health company released the first-ever superhigh-frequency portable ultrasonic scanner under the name Clarius L20 HD. Thanks to it doctors will be able to receive high-quality images of surface fabrics, the lying no more than 4 cm from skin.
The high density of beams provides the high frequency of the personnel and image quality. Frequency range of the device is from 8 MHz to 20 MHz. The scanner can be managed easily through applications for iOS and Android, and AI regulates image parameters in real time. Clarius L20 HD can be used together with storage of images Clarius Cloud and is compatible to the application for Clarius Live telemedicine. The Clarius L20 HD scanner is held for use in rheumatology, pediatrics, plastic surgery and microsurgery. Besides, it can be used for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures at injuries of the musculoskeletal device.
Each practicing doctor should have a possibility of visualization of high resolution to increase quality of diagnostics and the procedures which are carried out under ultrasonography control. The Clarius L20 HD scanner is available in the USA (for $6900), Great Britain (5750 pounds sterling) and the EU (6250 euros). The producer notes that the cost of Clarius L20 HD is much less, than at the traditional ultrasonography scanners which price category begins from $35,000.[1]
